Alisha W. Singh has a master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Lynn University and is the founder of Compassion Focus Counseling and Consulting, LLC. She is a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and a board-certified National Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). Alisha brings to her practice a unique resource to help her clients with career counseling and job search. She has over ten years of experience working in the Human Resources field and holds a certification as a Senior Professional Human Resources® (SPHR). In addition to having a private practice, she also works for the City of West Palm Beach in Human Resources as a Training & Development Specialist. Deja Gilbert, Ph.D., LMHC, LPC

  Deja Gilbert is the Chief Operating Officer of Futures Recovery Healthcare. She is a healthcare business professional, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has a PhD in Human Services in Counseling Studies. With 15+ years of experience in the treatment field, she has opened, developed and led multiple behavioral healthcare facilities with all levels of care.

Dr. Rob Freund, Ph.D., LMHC, NCC, QS (MFT, MH)

Dr. Rob Freund is an assistant professor of counselor education at Nova Southeastern University in Davie Florida. He is trained in level 3 of the Gottman Method for couples counseling, has advanced training in emotion-focused couples therapy and has a small private practice in Boca Raton, FL. He conducts research in processes of the therapeutic relationship, spirituality, and wellness. When not engaged in clinical and academic activities he can be found drawing, reading Neil Gaiman, or doing silly dances with his partner and 2-year-old daughter. Elie Carlile, LMHC, NCC

Elie Carlile is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and has worked as a Primary Therapist at Caron Renaissance in Boca Raton, FL since 2017 treating individuals suffering with Substance Use Disorders, Eating Disorders, Family Systems, and underlying mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. Prior to her role as a Primary Therapist, Elie worked at Caron Renaissance as a Counselor Assistant while obtaining her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University. She completed her graduate counseling internship at The Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders, and she grounds her therapeutic work in a family systems approach that encourages recovery for the entire family system.

Ljubomirka Bijelic

Ljubomirka Bijelic graduated with a BA in psychology from the University of Northern Iowa and is currently enrolled in the UNI Counseling Program. After completing her master’s degree, Bijelic hopes to work with elementary-aged children as a School-Based Mental Health Counselor and eventually become a Registered Play Therapist in the state of Iowa. Bijelic lives in Cedar Falls, Iowa, with her two sons, two stepsons, fiancé, and chocolate lab Piper.

Maxwell Couture

Maxwell Couture is Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. He is passionate about family therapy and working with children of all ages. Maxwell is the Family Services Manager at Women In Distress of Broward County, the largest Certified Domestic Violence Center in the State. Maxwell also maintains a private practice, Couture Counseling LLC, in Palm Beach and Broward Counties providing in-home, virtual, and consultation services.

Maxwell specializes in children and families effected by domestic violence and healing from trauma. He is trained in Child-Parent Psychotherapy and is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He has served as an adjunct professor at Lynn University where he earned his Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology.

Mindy Parsons, Ph.D., LMHC, NCC, CCMHC, RPT-S

Mindy Parsons has a thriving private practice in Delray Beach, Florida, where she has worked with individuals, children, couples and families since 2008. She is one of few therapists who specialize in sand tray therapy and she is a sought-after trainer who has given workshops throughout the U.S. and Canada on the power of sand tray therapy. She has a Ph.D. in counseling and is a nationally board certified clinician, as well as a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor. She co-authored Changing Aging, Changing Family Therapy: Practicing with 21st Century Realities. Mindy lives with her husband in Boynton Beach and they have two grown children. 

Vassilia Binensztok, Phd, LMHC

Vassilia Binensztok, Phd, LMHC is a licensed psychotherapist in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, specializing in anxiety, relationships, and complex trauma.  She offers therapy both in-person and online.
