What you're going through is hard.

It’s completely unknown and uncharted territory for all of us. The past few weeks of watching what’s happening in the world has been frightening. The current state of affairs absolutely sucks and it’s the same for everyone – the bottom line is that dealing with the impact of COVID-19 has shaken many of us to the core. Shutdowns, food and supply shortages, children home from school, lack of income, etc. have caused fear and anxiety to skyrocket to unprecedented levels as most aspects of normalcy have vanished before our eyes and seemingly without warning.

And yet, we’re going to get through this.

We have no choice but to move forward. That doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy or any less terrifying. That’s why we’re here to help. This site is dedicated to helping those of us who are struggling with the effects of being quarantined by offering support, encouragement and information to get through this crisis together – and hopefully emerge on the other side stronger and better than before.

What does that mean?

You will find support in terms of licensed therapists who are offering telehealth services for those most affected by this pandemic and need a higher level of support. For those who just need encouragement, a host of ideas, suggestions and resources will be included to help you navigate these strange new realities across a wide range of topics.

Here you will find information on:

  • Coping with the Fears and Stress of a Pandemic
  • Parenting Challenges
  • Free Resources and Information
  • Support for Mental Health Professionals
  • How to Find Therapists Available by Phone and/or Face Time
  • Additional Resources

Our Mission

The mission of this site is to offer support, encouragement and information to those who feel overwhelmed, frightened or otherwise disenfranchised navigate these difficult days ahead. The information is offered as a public service from a team of mental health professionals and is not a substitute for any recommendations from your doctor, therapist or other medical professional.

This information is offered as a free resource for those who could benefit from additional support and encouragement. It is a way of giving back in a time when we need each other more than ever.

Be well,

Dr. Mindy Parsons
